Our European iron strap hinges are suited to cabinet and chest duty. The material thickness is right for these applications but insufficient for architectural scale work. This hinge has a 14" strap and a 8" tail. Many uses will require a bend a some point on either the strap or the tail, this can easily be accomplished with a hammer and vice without fear of metal breakage.
