Clockcase Hinge 1" x 1 1 /2" Unfinished

These 1" long tipped unfinished brass hinges are called clockcase hinges. They were employed on the waist door of tall case clock and allowed a partial "half overlay" type of door construction by placing the wider leaf on the casework while the narrower would project the door forward the depth of the rebate. Three sides of the door are rebated while the hinged edge is left plain. Our hinges are extruded brass and made in England to our specification.
