Flatback Butt Hinge 2"x 1 1/4"

These Japanese extruded brass butt hinges are typical of the products of that country. The manufacturing is absolutely consistent so a hinge purchased today will match a hinge purchased 10 years ago which cannot be claimed for the English equivalent. The machining is not quite as tight as the English type but in many cases this may be preferred. The leaf profile is flat rather than having the English taper and the finishes are generally better though they cannot be purchased unfinished and so are not suited to custom adaptation.
