Extruded Cabinet RH Door Lock 1 1/2"

Our 1 1/2" English half mortise RH cabinet door locks are the nicest available. The back is thick extruded brass section and the mechanism is a secure lever design. 2 keys are supplied and we usually ship groups keyed together where possible. If you are building traditional fine cabinetry these half mortise locks are a better choice than the common full mortise type not only from the perspective of authenticity but also for some practical reasons. A half mortise lock is set further towards the back of the drawer front so there is more thickness in which to fasten an escutcheon. The mortise is much easier to cut as it is shallow and wide rather than deep and narrow.
